«When Bavaria promoted me to the post of production manager almost 15 years ago, they first sent me to Ferrum for training purposes. This is because Bavaria and Ferrum have always maintained a cooperative relationship, based on mutual understanding.
The partnership dates back to 1976. At the time, Ferrum tested its first F900 seaming machine for drinks cans at our company. Since then, countless prototypes have had their first test runs at Bavaria. There's even a banner bearing the slogan «Ferrum Test Center Bavaria» in one of the bottling halls.
In addition to quality, the proximity Ferrum grants us as a customer is an enormous advantage. We gain insights into the machines' specifications early on, during the development phase. This allows us to contribute our know-how, as we are closer to the market. One example: We face ever stricter hygiene regulations. As a result, we requested an extension of the cleaning system and an optimized structure when the further developmentof the F12 came round. Ferrum responded to our input, constructing a utility tower with integrated foam cleaning system in the F12-2. And that is just one example of the continuous optimization we endeavor to achieve
together. As a result, it makes Ferrum's machinery better – good for us, and for Ferrum. You could say we make each other happy – as should be the case in a good partnership.»
